In the midst of the summer of 2021, there's an element of doubt regarding the way Rotary continues to offer the human connections that Rotary members valued previously. However, it is evident, that the hands-to-face mantra remains a part of our daily routine. Rotary, however, has developed. While we are in the summer of 2021, there remains a continuing level of uncertainty in how our service to society includes the highly valued connections between people that were enjoyed by Rotary members in previous times. While the traditional 'hands in face space' will undoubtedly be part of our ongoing program, it's clear that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are happening. But Rotary has evolved. Rotary is a community that helps build lasting relationships. To ensure that we can continue to hold our meetings online, we have reintroduced service and social events in a safe face-to-face setting. In order to build the foundation for a brighter future for Rotary, we have used the opportunities of the epidemic and our previous habits. Recent Rotary survey showed that about 75% of clubs had plans to carry on with their usual business. This article is available in English.
